Primary Ovarian Pregnancy with Intrauterine Device

Abstract
|
|
|
Primary ovarian pregnancy, diagnosed by Spiegelberg´s four criteriae, is rare form of ectopic pregnancy.
The frequency of primary ovarian pregnancy with intrauterine device is much more rare than that of primary ovarian pregnancy without intrauterine device.
The ovarian pregnancy with intrauterine device has been reported only about 20 cases in the literatures and first report in Korea was made 1982.
But, it is unclear whether the use of an intrauterine device predisposes to ovarian pregnancy.
Recently, we have experienced a case of ovarian pregnancy with intrauterine device and reviewed it briefly.
